Upcoming SDG briefs
In 2024, UNESCO IESALC is launching its SDG Brief Series, a similar in format to UNESCO IESALC’s Policy Brief Series, and considerably shorter than the previous reports on SDG 5 and SDG 11. Each brief analyzes the contribution of higher education (HE) to one specific SDG at a time, or specific aspects of one SDG. These briefs, aimed at policymakers and HE leaders and administrators, identify emerging challenges, trends and gaps, providing real-life examples of insitutional good practices and relevant government policies, as well as actionable recommendations.
Each SDG Brief constitutes a useful complement to the SET4HEI indicators for that SDG, providing context and illustrative examples from around the world.
Below you can find a list of the SDG briefs that are currently being drafted, and to be published throughout 2024. Stay tuned!
